Andrew Kau,
General Partner, Walden International

Andrew joined Walden International in 1994. Prior to WI, he was President of Chemical Technologies Ventures. He was also a management consultant at Strategic Planning Associates and Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Earlier in his career he was a research scientist at Systems Planning Corporation and a VLSI semiconductor engineer at IBM. Andrew holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Virginia.

Corley Philips,
General Partner, American River Venture

Corley brings significant software entrepreneurial experience to OpenClovis. Until its successful merger with State of the Art (now part of the Sage Group, LSE: SGE), he served as President and CEO of Manzanita Software Systems, an accounting software company based in Roseville, CA. Prior to that, he was President and co-founder of Grafpoint, a communications software company based in San Jose, California, which merged with White Pine Software (now part of Radvision, NASDAQ: RVSN). He previously held various sales and marketing positions with Envision Technology and Hewlett-Packard. In addition to his role as CEO of OpenClovis, Corley is a Managing Director of American River Ventures, an early stage venture fund, Chairman of Synapsense, a Wireless Sensor Networking Software company based in Folsom, CA, and a Director of the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy. Corley holds a BSEE and MSEE from Washington University, St. Louis, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

V.K. Budhraja, Founder & CEO, OpenClovis

An entrepreneur in the communications industry, VK has a 20-year record of creating and leading successful companies. Before founding OpenClovis, VK co-founded Fibex Systems in May 1997 to capitalize on the emerging CLEC market for a broadband access product. As a leader in their space, Fibex was acquired by Cisco. Prior to co-founding Fibex, VK held senior management positions at Next Level Communications (acquired by General Instrument, now Motorola), Optilink (acquired by DSC Communications, now Alcatel) and Northern Telecom. VK holds an MSCS from SUNY at Stony Brook, NY and a BSCS from MNL REC, India.

John Webley,
Founder & Chairman, Turin Networks

John founded Turin Networks in 1999. Currently he is the Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer at Turin. Prior to founding Turin Networks, Mr. Webley co-founded Advanced Fibre Communications (AFC), where he guided the company into its present position as one of today's leading independent telecommunications suppliers. John most recently served as AFC's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for shaping the 3rd generation NGDLC company's technology strategy. During his seven-year tenure at the company John also held the positions of VP of Marketing and VP of Advanced R&D. Before AFC, Mr. Webley had co-founded Quadrium Corporation and also held strategic engineering positions at Optilink (now Alcatel). John earned a BSEE, an Hons BSc, and an MSEE from the University of Stellenboscn, South Africa.

Amra Tareen,
Independent Director

Since joining Sevin Rosen Funds in 2000, Amra Tareen has worked with telecommunications companies. Her previous experience includes management positions at leading communications companies Lucent Technologies and Ascend Communications, where she played a key role in growing Ascend's DSL business.
